6C Publishing is the student organization overseeing the 6C Network news site, the student run Instagram Account, and Wildlife, AATL’s yearbook.

6C Network is the student created, student run news blog for the Upper Division of Academy at the Lakes, an independent K-12 located in Land O’ Lakes, FL. It’s mission, to foster student engagement in the school community and greater world and provide a platform for thought and debate regarding school, local and national concerns.

6C Publishing’s Instagram Account is the primary student-run social network platform for up-to-the-minute images and videos regarding what’s happening at the Academy, from the silly to the serious. It is largely geared towards Middle and Upper Divisions.

Wildlife is Academy at the Lake’s school yearbook, which provides an accurate record of the events of the school year. It covers all divisions of the school. It is a historical, reference, and picture book.

These 2 publications and social media platform serve as an educational tool for students, providing real world experience in a middle school environment, grounded in the 6 skills that form the foundation of our curriculum (and for which 6C Publishing was named); Character, Citizenship, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking.
