Make Your Summer Plans Now

Trying to make summer plans before the school year ends? If so, join some of Academy’s summer camps to keep in touch with friends and even make some new ones. From June 4th to August 3rd you can enjoy fun activities, adventures or arts and crafts. Some that you might want to try is Day trippers, Junior Astronomy, Crafty Creations, Trailblazers, and so much more.  Every camp is a different week and is set for different age groups.

One of the most popular field trip camps is Teen Rec. This fun-filled camp is for 6th to 9th graders to enjoy a week of laser tag, movies, MOSI high ropes, bowling, a day at the beach, and so much more. For kids that are younger the 6th grade, there is a Rec K-2, Kindergarten to 2nd-grade students.

Enjoy robotics or physics? Well, there are many camps but to name a few, “Physics is Fun!” “Robotics,” and “Wild and Wacky Science.” These camps go from 2nd to 9th graders to full-fill our summer fun of learning the basics of engineering and physics by doing hands-on experiments or learning how to program and make your own robot. One of the camps is called Invention Convention. In this camp you invent your own creation of gadgets and machines then showcase it. Hannah Church, an 8th grader, was a CIT for the camp and says,

“The kids really loved the camp and enjoyed having the chance to build their own creation.”
